Model details
Railway architecture · N 1:160 and H0 1:87 · Package v0.32.1
A station, two goods sheds and the details that bring them together.
Lichte (Ost), formerly Bock-Wallendorf, is reconstructed as a modular station ensemble for a historic model railway. The brick station, annex, glazed porch, goods sheds and connected loading docks combine photograph-guided features with interpreted regional railway architecture. It is an approximately 1930 interpretation, not a surveyed replica.
Digital download · customer package v0.32.1. Includes both N and H0 scale profiles for personal use.
One package, two scale profiles
N 1:160: 72 different production STL files, representing 93 pieces with all optional additions. The assembled envelope is approximately 308.0 × 92.8 × 80.7 mm.
H0 1:87: 74 production STL files and 95 pieces with all optional additions. The assembled envelope is approximately 566.4 × 169.4 × 148.5 mm; larger foundation and dock parts are supplied in sections.
Choose one scale profile and use its parts at 100% in the slicer. Do not mix profiles or assume that simply rescaling an N part preserves the intended fits.
What is included
- STL building parts for N and H0, with quantities and orientation notes.
- Nine separate fit and detail coupons per scale.
- A 15-page illustrated English assembly guide, detailed assembly notes and scale-specific parts lists.
- Separate goods doors for open or closed static display, exterior door rails, removable floor inserts and interpreted timber roof framing.
- 22 optional retrofit pieces per scale: small braces, wall flashings, gutters and downpipes. These are already counted in the totals above.
- Sundby Model Works Personal Use Licence v1.0 and file checksums.
The customer ZIP is approximately 15.4 MB. After unpacking, open START_HERE.html for detailed assembly notes, complete part quantities and a local gallery of 13 images: four photographs of the earlier N build, eight CAD/plan/assembly views and one setting illustration. N and H0 each have separate folders for building parts, optional accessories and test coupons; the illustrated PDF assembly guide and licence are also included. It contains printable parts and customer documentation, not the internal modelling source or QA workspace. Track, scenery, glazing material, wiring and lighting equipment are not included. No tested Bambu Studio 3MF project is supplied.
Printing and assembly
The fine-detail profiles are designed around a 0.2 mm nozzle. Start with a 0.20 mm first layer and, when using a brim, a 0.00 mm brim-object gap. Review supports and fine features in your slicer, particularly beneath roof shells. The supplied part orientations and coupons are starting points, not a guarantee for every printer and material.
Each production part fits individually within a 246 × 246 mm XY footprint, before any slicer-added supports or brim. Glue the wall joints while preserving the removable roof and floor interfaces identified in the guide. The goods doors are separate static parts, not working sliding mechanisms.
Print evidence and remaining limits
Björn’s earlier N-scale build is documented in the project record. The exact source revisions of its photographed parts are unconfirmed. The new retrofit accessories and hidden SMW markings have not been physically tested; H0 has been digitally checked but not printed. A previous N build does not certify every part in the current package.
v0.32.1 is a customer-packaging revision with clearer folders, a local start page and additional images; model geometry remains v0.31. Accordingly, v0.31 labels in the assembly guide and hidden maker marks are intentional. No new whole-model physical or slicer validation is claimed.
About the gallery: the photographs document an earlier N-scale build; its exact source revisions are unconfirmed, and the latest accessories are not all shown. The CAD views show geometry supplied with customer package v0.32.1, including the H0 profile, which has not been physically printed. The setting illustration is an artist’s impression, not a photograph. Landscape and railway props are illustrative and are not included.
Personal-use licence
Print, adapt and display the model for your own hobby. Digital redistribution and sale of physical prints require separate written permission. A limited printing-service exception allows a service to print on your behalf. The complete licence below is the same text supplied in the customer ZIP.

SUNDBY MODEL WORKS – PERSONAL USE LICENCE
Version 1.0 | 5 October 2026
Licensor: Sundby Model Works
1. Scope
This licence applies to the Sundby Model Works digital model files and accompanying assembly documentation supplied with it (the Materials). It grants you, as a lawful recipient, a non-exclusive licence for personal hobby use. Ownership of the Materials is not transferred. Third-party materials expressly identified as separately licensed remain subject to their own terms.
2. Permitted personal use
You may store and back up the Materials and make multiple physical prints for your own hobby use. You may resize, modify and adapt the files for that purpose. You may display your finished models, including at exhibitions, and publish photographs or videos of them. Credit to Sundby Model Works is appreciated but not required. Showing a model does not permit distributing its digital files.
3. Printing services
You may give the files needed for your own prints to a printing service and pay for that service. The service may use them solely to fulfil your order. It must not retain the model files after completing the job, reuse them for other customers, distribute them or offer the model for sale. This exception permits printing on your behalf; it does not grant a general commercial production licence to the service.
4. Uses requiring separate written permission
Without separate written permission from Sundby Model Works, you may not:
- Share, upload, distribute, sell or sublicense the digital model files, whether original or modified, including rescaled versions.
- Redistribute the accompanying assembly documentation as a standalone file or as part of another model package.
- Produce the models for commercial sale or sell physical prints made from the files, including prints made from modified or rescaled versions.
A separate commercial licence may be agreed for selling physical prints. It does not automatically include permission to redistribute digital files.
5. Rights retained and other terms
Rights not expressly granted here are reserved to their respective holders. This licence does not replace separately agreed written permissions. A later licence version does not automatically change the terms attached to your copy. Nothing in this licence excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights or other rights that cannot lawfully be restricted. It does not set refund or withdrawal terms; applicable law and the terms of the relevant purchase govern those matters.
For permissions beyond this licence, contact Sundby Model Works through the shop or channel from which you obtained the model.
